Photo – 7 Photographs Devon Area Lifton & Launceston and Possibly Warminster
Dated – 1920s to 1950s
Lifton is in Devon and Launceston is in Cornwall and Warminster is in Wiltshire all in England UK
7 photographs all small and mounted on paper. Many of the photos do not have locations mentioned but are unbound from an album covering mainly Devon and also bits of Dorset and Cornwall and even Hampshire. Photo 1 is of a male soldier and the back of the photo has writing and all that could be made out is Warminster. This could be where it was taken but because the photo is bound to paper cannot see the rest of the words. Probably taken around 1930s or 1940s. Photo 2 is of a dog and probably is Lifton and has a date of 1955. Photo 3 is of what appears to be the same dog most likely Lifton again in the 1950s. Photo 4 is of same dog again probably in Lifton and says 1955. Photo 5 is of a car probably in the Devon, Dorset or Cornwall area in the 1930s to 1950s. Photo 6 is of a man with a dog again most likely Lifton in the 1950s. Photo 7 is of some sort of a procession or event in Launceston in the 1930s to 1950s. It is possible some other photos have writing on back that cannot be seen due to being bound to paper, but cannot guarantee it. Can only see this on the soldier photo for certain.
